The Test Flight of iFTEM-I Fixed-Wing Airborne Time-Domain Electromagnetic System in Binxian, Heilongjiang Province, China

The fixed-wing time-domain airborne electromagnetic method (FTEM) has been widely used in metal mining exploration, groundwater mapping and other fields worldwide, recent decades, its use gradually also become more prevalent China. first generation of the system (iFTEM-I), researched developed by Institute Geophysical Geochemical Exploration (IGGE), demonstrated years. In this article, we introduce brief working principle parameters iFTEM-I, show that effective prospecting depth iFTEM-I is up to 350 m, which indicated a comparison results between ground TEM (TEM-30B) carried out Binxian.
